Description:

According to Chinese medicine, the quality of hair is influenced by the strength of the liver and kidneys. Insufficiency of liver blood and kidney essence or Yin can cause hair loss or premature greying. The mixture contains herbs that nourish both the kidneys and the liver. The emperor herb in the Nu Huang Bian Zi Tang formula is the root of the multiflower knotweed (He Shou Wu). The knotweed root supports the strength and quality of hair and prevents premature greying. In addition, it alleviates signs of ageing, deterioration of vision and hearing, aching in the lower back and knees from kidney deficiency, supports fertility, moistens the intestines (dry constipation), and is suitable for anaemia and osteoporosis. Other herbs in cooperation with the knotweed also nourish the liver and kidneys.
