The strawberry belongs to the rose family and is widespread in the northern and temperate zones of Europe, Asia and America. In addition to wild strawberries, there is a large number of garden strawberry varieties.

Historically, strawberries have always been particularly popular with children. Children very often picked wild strawberries and enjoyed them as a delicacy and a way to enrich their diet. Of all fruits, strawberries have the most aroma and contain carotene, folic acid, vitamin C and potassium.

They have a sweet to sour taste and a refreshing to cooling nature. They enter the lung, spleen, liver, kidney and stomach meridians. They moisten the lungs, flush toxins from the intestines, regulate urination, drain dampness and lower blood pressure. They increase libido.
