Use of the formula according to Traditional Chinese Medicine:

  • releases blocked Yang
  • supports the movement of Qi, moves stagnation, stops pain
  • transforms and releases phlegm
  • opens the chest, removes the feeling of pressure and fullness from the presence of phlegm

Description:

A simple yet extremely effective formula from the famous physician Zhang Zhong Jing of the Han Dynasty from his Essential Prescriptions from the Golden Cabinet, it is a true treasure for treating painful obstructions in the chest, in this case caused by phlegm stagnation. One of the possible scenarios for its development is a weakening of the overall Yang leading to an accumulation of fluids, which later transform into phlegm. This further tends to retain Qi in the depths, so that the Yang cannot emerge, stagnation and phlegm production increase, and thus the vicious circle closes. By transforming phlegm, clearing the channels and collaterals in the chest, and "opening" it, the formula can release the stagnant Qi and the Yang can emerge. Vital substances flow freely again, fullness and pressure in the chest disappear, and we can breathe deeply and without pain.
