A traditional 16th-century formula originally intended for the deficiency of the Emperor – the Heart, specifically in Qi and yang, similar to the combined deficiency of yang in the area of the upper burner, heart and lungs, or possibly the spleen. What does yang do? Yang is movement, dynamics, heat – these are exactly the attributes of the heart, the most yang organ in the body. Throughout life, it tirelessly pumps and supplies the whole body with blood containing oxygen and nutrients, right down to the smallest capillaries at the fingertips... What incredible energy and endurance! According to Chinese medicine, the heart also "governs the blood vessels" and with its yang "colours the blood red". It is therefore responsible for the entire blood circulation. Heart yang – the imperial fire from above oversees the flow of vital substances throughout the organism.
There are many factors that can negatively affect its function: general exhaustion (lack of Qi and/or blood after illness or significant blood loss), Qi stagnation, often caused by emotions (excessive desire, resentment, sadness or guilt, but also excessive joy), external cold (from the environment and weather influences) or internal – from a lack of warming ministerial fire in the kidneys. This causes Qi and blood not to flow as they should, leading to the formation of stasis and blockages, which manifests as a whole spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. Our formula is capable of influencing all these causes – it supplements Qi and dynamically also blood, warms the yang of all important organs, while simultaneously balancing this by supplementing the correct yin and fluids to prevent overheating, and moves stasis and blood blockages, thereby regulating the proper circulation of all vital substances. In the language of modern medicine, we would say that it "tonifies" the heart and blood circulation, thus becoming an ideal solution for heart and vascular diseases.
The formula also calms the Shen spirit – by nourishing and moving blood blockages. It thus becomes ideal for psychological and neurological problems with symptoms of cold, e.g., certain types of depression, anxiety, insomnia and sensory disorders. For example, even in states after Covid illness, where there are known tendencies towards blood blockages, and after high fevers with the use of cooling anti-inflammatory drugs (antibiotics, antipyretics, etc.), a weakening of yang can also occur.
Caution – for this formula to be administered, cold must be present and dominant in the organism.
