Use of the formula according to Traditional Chinese Medicine:

  • releases liver Qi
  • moves stagnation
  • supplements spleen Qi
  • nourishes blood
  • regulates menstruation

Description:

A classic formula for harmonising the liver and spleen. Liver stagnation and spleen deficiency are arguably the two most common problems that people bring to the clinic. The liver is an organ sensitive to emotions. If there are too many emotions, the liver functions like a pressure cooker. Its energy then becomes excessive and begins to leak somewhere. Due to this accumulation, it begins to heat up. And then several scenarios occur as to how the liver releases this energy. One of the basic functions of the liver is to ensure the free flow of everything in the organism, i.e. Qi, blood and fluids. If this function is blocked by emotions, then Qi begins to stagnate in the organism. A person perceives this initially as feelings of tension. Later, blood and phlegm may also begin to stagnate, which manifests as newly formed structures – cysts, myomas, tumours, etc.

Excessive liver energy also weakens spleen Qi. In other words, it weakens our digestion. It weakens the spleen's ability to transform food into Qi and blood, which is the fuel for our organism.
